The Jersey Builder is rebuilt: start from any NHL team or your own design, style every part of the jersey and socks, and spin it in 3D before you order. Team Settings is also redesigned, fees and expenses show a clear remaining balance, games show which jersey to wear, live scores can follow you to the iPhone Lock Screen, and you can subscribe to individual team calendars or all your teams together.

## Web, iPhone and Android

## Team Jerseys on Your Games

Team Details has a new Jerseys screen where you can add as many jerseys as you need, name each one, pick its colour and choose the defaults for Home Games and Away Games. Teams that already had home and away colours start with those.

A jersey icon in your colour shows on upcoming game cards and in the Schedule list, and game details say which jersey to wear, plus the opponent's when they've set theirs. Editing a game has a Jersey row to pick a different one for just that game.

## Improvements

- Players confirm before checking themselves or their kids out of an event. Managers can turn this off with Confirm Checking Out in Event Settings.
- Players without a team see a welcome on Home and Schedule with ways to find a game, join a team or create one, instead of a pop-up.
- Parents can remove a child from their account.
- League standings show the columns that fit your sport, like win percentage and games behind.
- League admins can set how many standings points a win, tie or overtime loss is worth.
- Managers can choose whether scrimmages and drop-ins count toward games played, under Stats in Team Settings.
- Game sheets, game details and final scores use each sport's own periods and terms, like quarters, innings, points and runs.
- Baseball and softball games record each extra inning by number.
- Scorekeeping starts with a period length that fits your league's sport.
- All active league staff can open the league schedule, and scorekeepers can enter scores from it with Quick Score.
- The bar for editing a Chatter message now matches the reply bar.
- Lines and borders in dark mode are a neutral gray instead of blue.
- The time row on Add Goalie lines up with the rest of the screen.

## Fixes

- Jersey numbers like 0 and 00 show and save the way players entered them.
- Calendar Sync no longer mixes up a game's teams when the calendar shows a final score in the title, and only changes teams when it recognizes yours.
- Messages in a new chat no longer get stuck on Sending after a retry.
- Back on Lines and Batting Order takes you back to the game.
- Subscribe to Calendar keeps loading until your link is ready, without briefly saying it's unavailable.
- Long team names in Subscribe to Calendar shorten to fit beside the Subscribe button.

## Web

The Jersey Builder is rebuilt: start from any NHL team or your own design, style every part of the jersey and socks, and spin it in 3D before you order. Games now show which jersey to wear, and calendar subscriptions can cover one team or all your teams. Parents can also RSVP for each child from Home and keep private documents on a child's profile.

## Redesigned Jersey Builder

Start from any NHL team's home or away jersey, a vintage look, or a plain custom design. Then change the colours, collar, sleeves, hem, shoulder yoke and body, with a small preview of every option. Pick a crest and recolour or resize it, and choose socks that match the jersey or have their own colours and stripes.

Spin the jersey in 3D, switch between front and back, and share a picture to Chatter or save it as an image or PDF. A size chart lists jersey and sock measurements for every size. After you order, the order page shows everything you chose for each set, and Design again or Reorder starts a new order from it.

Managers can save a design as a team template instead of checking out, and it's posted to Chatter. Templates show under Team Jerseys, where teammates can order one exactly as designed and pay for their own.

## Choose Your Team Calendars

Add a team's games and events to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or another calendar app. If you're on multiple teams, choose All Teams to follow them together. Your subscribed calendars stay up to date when events change.

Download Schedule also lets you download one team's schedule or all your teams together.

## Your Kids' RSVPs on Home and Schedule

Upcoming game cards on Home list each of your children on the team with their RSVP status and an RSVP button to check them in or out, or Pay to play when the event needs it. Children who can't RSVP for that event aren't listed.

In the Schedule list, the status bar beside each event splits to show your answer and each child's, and the event's menu lets you set attendance for each child.

## Documents on a Child's Profile

A child's profile has a new Documents screen where their parents and the managers of their teams can add photos and PDFs, open them and delete them. Each file shows whether it's an image or PDF, its size and the date it was added.

Only the child's parents and team managers can see these documents.

## Edit Your Polls

Polls you posted show Edit, which opens Edit Poll. Renamed options keep their votes. Removing options that have votes asks first, and players who voted for them can vote again. Polls in Chatter update with the changes.

Any option can be removed when a poll has more than two, on New Poll too. Archive is now a red button at the bottom of the Poll screen.

## Improvements

- RSVP links in emails and texts now open a page with a Check IN, Check OUT or Join Waitlist button, so nothing changes until you click it.
- The Upgrade to PRO window starts with the feature you were trying to use.
- Right-click an image in Chatter to copy or save it.
- Applying changes from Calendar Sync sends your team one notification instead of one for each game, and calls schedule items events.
- Jerseys in the sidebar shows only for hockey teams.
- On small screens, game rows in the Schedule show the opponent's logo next to its name, and All Teams shows your team's logo too.
- Seen by and Reactions in Chatter open as a centred window with a close button.
- Confirmation windows match the app's light and dark colours.
- Assign Rooms opens in a smaller window.
- Change Password has its own button below the password fields.
- What's new? in the sidebar and in Account opens the changelog, and its label fits in the sidebar.
- Players can change their answer to a poll, on the Poll screen and on polls in Chatter.
- Soccer goals can be recorded as own goals, credited to the team without a scorer.
- Editing a goal offers the periods and goal types for the game's sport, and scorekeeper settings show only the options that apply to it.
- The web app shows What's New once after an update, with a link to the full changelog.
- Organizers closing a Finder game now see Cancel Finder Posting, which makes clear the game stays on the schedule.
- Teams in sports without goalies no longer see goalie settings, goalie notification choices, goalie jersey sizes or the Goalie Coach role, and soccer teams see Keepers instead.
- Player positions match each team's sport on the roster, in events and line-ups, when editing a player and when importing players.
- Without PRO, locked settings show as off instead of a saved value that isn't being used.
- Fee and expense details show what's been paid and the remaining balance instead of a progress bar, with a player's fees starting from their total. The balance is red when overdue and shows as negative when someone paid too much.
- Fee and expense details open with the type, amount, note and whether it was paid, how many days overdue it is or when it's due.
- Record Payment sits under the balance and is hidden once a fee or expense is paid in full.
- Amounts on Record Payment, Add Fee and Edit Fee show with commas and cents.
- Payment methods show as PayPal and E-Transfer everywhere.
- Once a player is marked No Show, only a manager can change their RSVP, and the event explains why. Players who owe a fee can still pay.

## Fixes

- Seen by and Reactions in Chatter match dark mode and open again after you close them.
- Rows on the Family page in Account no longer turn gray when you hover over them.
- Window headers match the colour of the window they're in.
- Editing a player on the web shows an error when a change can't be saved.
- Opening an event from another team no longer leaves the Schedule tab sending you back to Home.
- Signing in from the BenchApp feedback site takes you back to it signed in.
- A fee that's been paid now shows the date it was paid instead of its due date.
- Pasted amounts with both commas and periods, like 1,500.00 or 1.500,50, now read correctly on Record Payment and when adding or editing fees and expenses.

## Android, iPhone coming soon

The Jersey Builder is rebuilt: start from any NHL team or your own design, style every part of the jersey and socks, and spin it in 3D before you order. Team Settings is also redesigned, fees and expenses show a clear remaining balance, games show which jersey to wear, live scores can follow you to the iPhone Lock Screen, and you can subscribe to individual team calendars or all your teams together.

Managers can also save a design with Create Team Template instead of checking out. It shows under Team Jerseys with its price, the team gets a card in Chatter, and teammates can order their own jersey in that design without changing it.

## Redesigned Team Settings

Settings is now one tidy list grouped by topic: Team Details, Seasons and Opponents, then reminders and spare invites, Notifications, Event Settings and Drink Rotation, Fees & Finances, Stats, Player Requirements, Security & Privacy, Health Check and Subscription. Delete Team Forever sits at the bottom.

Every settings screen now uses the familiar rows, switches and pickers of your phone. Team and opponent logos open a quick menu to choose or remove a photo, and Subscription shows your plan and invoices, with options to change your card or move the subscription to another team.

## Clearer Fees and Expenses

Each fee and expense opens with its type, amount and note, then says when it was paid, how many days overdue it is, or when it's due. Below that, Paid and Remaining balance show what's left, in red when it's overdue and as a negative amount in green when someone paid too much. Once it's settled you see Paid in full, and Record Payment no longer shows. A player's fees also start with their Total fees.

In Finances, each player shows how many fees they have and what's remaining, and each expense shows an icon for its type and when it's due. On iPhone and Android, a player's fees and each fee open as full screens with a back button. Amounts on Record Payment, Add Fee and Edit Fee show with a dollar sign and commas.

## Live Scores on Your Lock Screen

Games in progress have a Follow Live Score button. Both teams, the score and the current period stay on your Lock Screen and keep updating, even when BenchApp is closed.

Your next game or two can also show on the Lock Screen with the time, location and how many players are in, out or on the waitlist. Choose whether it shows, how many events and how far ahead under Preferences in Account.

## Your Children's RSVPs on Home and Schedule

When your children are on a team, the upcoming game card on Home lists each child with their RSVP status, and you can check each one in or out from the card.

In the Schedule, each game's status bar splits to show your own answer and each child's. Press and hold a game to set attendance for any of your children.

## Improvements

- Subscribe to Calendar lets you add one team's games and events, or all your teams together, to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or another calendar app, and Download Schedule can download one team's schedule or all of them.
- Subscribe to Calendar no longer has a Reset Link button.
- RSVP links in emails and texts now open a page with a Check IN, Check OUT or Join Waitlist button, so nothing changes until you tap it.
- Once a player is marked No Show, only a team manager can change their attendance, and the player sees why instead of RSVP buttons. Spares who owe a fee can still pay.
- The PRO upgrade screen is redesigned. It starts with the feature you were trying to use, compares Free and PRO, and has light and dark looks.
- Applying changes from Calendar Sync sends your team one notification instead of one for each game.
- The league menu now includes Broadcast and Bulletins.
- Jersey Builder now shows in the menu for hockey teams.
- Game rows in the Schedule show the opponent's logo next to its name, and All Teams shows your team's logo too.
- On iPad, picker and search screens use the standard navigation bar and search field.
- The Announcements row in Account is now What's new? and opens the changelog.
- The notifications prompt has a Maybe later option.
- Players can change their poll answer, on the Poll screen and on poll cards in Chatter.
- Soccer games can record an own goal, which credits the team without a scorer.
- Scorekeeping settings and the period and goal type choices when editing a goal now match your game's sport.
- In Finder, the organizer's button is now Cancel Finder Posting, and it confirms that the game stays on your schedule.
- Managers can edit a poll they posted, including its title, options, who can see it and whether it's pinned. Removing an option that has votes asks first, and Archive is now at the bottom of the Poll screen.
- Parents and team managers can keep private photos and PDFs on a child's profile under Documents.
- PRO settings in Team Settings open the upgrade screen for that feature, and show as off until your team has PRO.
- Teams in sports without goalies no longer see goalie settings, goalie jersey sizes or the Goalie Coach role, and soccer teams see Keepers instead.
- Positions on the roster, in lineups and attendance, and when importing players now match your team's sport.
- The full-screen photo viewer on Android has a close button.
- Payment methods are labelled PayPal and E-Transfer everywhere they show.

## Fixes

- The Seen by and Reactions lists in Chatter match dark mode and open again after you close them.
- Header buttons on Android use BenchApp's colours instead of ones taken from your wallpaper.
- Your upcoming games on the iPhone Lock Screen show with the right start times.
- Opening another team's event no longer leaves the Schedule tab stuck sending you back to Home.
- Photos that don't upload in Chatter now offer a retry instead of looking sent.
- Opening BenchApp from a notification no longer takes you to the same place twice.
- Scrolling Chatter with your finger on a link no longer opens the link.
- Game cards keep showing both teams' names after your next games update on the Lock Screen, instead of To Be Determined.
- A paid fee now says when it was paid instead of still showing its due date.
- Pasting an amount like 1,500.00 or 1.500,50 into a fee or payment now reads it as the right amount.
